On April 3, 1987, three people—Sarah Boyd , her daughter Kimberly Boyd, and family friend Linda McCord —attended a gospel in Walterboro, South Carolina. After the concert, they left together in a 1977 blue Lincoln owned by Linda’s husband, John McCord. They were expected to return home to Dorchester County that night, but they never arrived.
