In this town, the Merrifields raised their blended family of thirteen children.In August 1999, the Merrifields looked forward to adding two new grandchildren to their ever-growing family. Their daughter, 18-year-old, Jossie, was due any day with her second child, and their daughter Sandra May, who was four years older than Jossie, was due just a short while later with the baby she had long been trying for. The Merrifield family was large, consisting of nine girls and four boys, with plenty of little ones running around to keep things interesting.
