Approximately a year before commencing my northboundAppalachian Trail (AT) thru-hike, I was introduced to the Mighty Blue on the Appalachian Trail." podcast. Instantly captivated, I was drawn to Steve Adams' genuine enthusiasm and passion for the Appalachian Trail and its community. Since then, I have been a dedicated listener and fan, with the honorof being featured on his podcast multiple times. Steve is a distinguished podcaster with over 2.5 million downloads of his renowned show. He is also the founder of the Hiking Radio Network, which offers a platform for other aspiring podcasters to share their hiking-themed content with a wider audience. Steve has successfully completed two northbound thru hikes of the Appalachian Trail in 2014 and 2019, as well as the Camino De Santiago trail in 2018 and 2025.
