The Now World - Episode 6: The Uyghur Crisis and China's Foreign Policy w/ Dr. Casper Wits

On Friday the 9th of April 2021, Radi8 Radio collaborated with the East Asia committee in a livestream with Dr. Casper Wits; expert in Chinese foreign relations and our beloved lecturer in the courses of History and Politics of East Asia. We sat down with him for an interactive conversation about the Uyghur crisis and its implications for China's foreign policy and its role in the international realm. We also extensively discuss the role of Europe in this crisis and how increasing economic entanglement and China's Belt & Road Initiative plays a crucial role in it.
