Archetypes in BDSM? | S02E02

This term has been used endlessly and is still a little confusing for many to understand - including Indy as you will see. The subject however is relevant especially in the BDSM context and this is lens is what we will be looking in this episode. Here we can easily see how our projections can become eclipsed by archetypal figures (Warrior, Sadist, King, Magician, Bully, Weakling, ect..) and subsequently how our exchanges become incredibly charged. In its height we see how behind two people in a BDSM play, there can actually be seating archetypes holding the strings. Are we just puppets to deeper familiar patterns playing out again and again over time? Do we know why we seek the opposite shadow form to our own?
