Hello from the bedroom floor

Hello from the bedroom floor

Another enneagram podcast?! Whyyyyyyy?! We'll tell you why. Also, we'll complain a bit about all the ways the world gets us wrong, but we'll set the record straight. Top resources for beginners: FINDING TYPE: RHETI Test (Best testing tool for typing. It will give you the ranking of all nine types within your personality in order of how dominant they are. Note: Your top few will help you determine your wing and tritype.) Enneagram Institute (A very comprehensive website that digs deep into each type). Art of Growth Podcast (We LOVE this one because it's a series of panel discussions. Hearing a handful of your type talk about themselves really helps clinch your type.) The usual go-to if you want simple reading is the book "The Road Back to You." WINGS: Crystal Knows (Very basic description of how a wing "flavours" your type.) INSTINCT STACKING: The Enneagrammer (A good rundown of how the order of stacking affects the way you move in the world) OceanMoonshine (The terribly-named, but very helpful site that describes each stacking). TRITYPE: Tritype is a realm of the enneagram that is only just beginning to be explored. Proceed only once you have 100% confidence in your core type. The Big Hormone Enneagram is one of the most comprehensive resourced out there on type, but I'll give a disclaimer: They are a wild and unfiltered bunch. Lots of sexual content I wish I could unhear. That said, they blow my mind every single episode. Zhuanlan (A ghetto little site that is poorly laid out, but will give you a great description of each tritype. Coming Up in episode 2: Eryn's Story. How this force of nature became the woman she is, and how the enneagram has helped her make sense of it.

8s IN RELATIONSHIPS ● This one's for you 8 parents out there trying to raise a 5 kiddo and feeling like the more you try to move towards them the less accessible they become. This episode will teach you what not to do when raising a type 5. But it'll also encourage you that, in the end, our 5s would choose us every time. They love sheltering under our wing, so to speak, and riding off our powerful up-draft. Meanwhile, our 5s make us better thinkers and wiser decision makers.
