A technology enthusiast from a young age, Mrinal was an early contributor to BitTorrent and other open source projects. He first found Bitcoin in 2012. Mrinal received his Masters in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. He was an associate for Bain & Co., then a private equity associate at Bain Capital. Before leading CasperLabs, Mrinal was a sector head in Technology/Media/Telecom at Sagard Holdings
