Ever since your mother died, it has been just you and your daddy taking care of each other. You have gotten extremely close, but lately you’ve felt like you’re the one parenting your dad rather than the other way around. The worst is when your daddy’s friend Uncle James comes to town. Whenever Uncle James is around, your dad changes. They get so out of control, drinking and smoking and staying up all night. Secretly you miss the special time you get with him when it’s just you two. Luckily Uncle James has been MIA for years. One day though when you come home from school, Uncle James is sitting on your couch. It’s clear that he and your dad have been drinking. You want to go to your room, but your daddy tells you he wants you to stay a while and show you off to Uncle James.
