Representing a number of Dr. Duntsch’s victims, Kay exposed the lack of protection from medical regulatory bodies that are supposed to protect patients from dangerous doctors. Dr. Duntsch is one of the first physicians to be criminally convicted for severely injuring a patient. His heinous actions and operating room horror stories were the focus of the popular Dr. Death Podcast, hosted by top medical journalist Laura Beil.
