One of the most important pieces of advice I could give to any entrepreneur would be to model your company’s values and ethics on your personal values and ethics, even if it comes at the cost of some of your profitability or a heavier workload. That’s exactly what Tory Jones has done with Ixchel Triangle, using Guatemalan artisans to hand-weave the bags, while paying them above market rate and sharing profits with them.

Tory talks about why she vows to never use a factory to produce her products, how she grew her business from the ground up, and her interesting career before becoming an entrepreneur.
