Buy-Low vs. Sell-High Prospects & An Early Look at the 2025 NHL Draft!

In this episode, our scouts comb through the league's prospect pools and identify players who would make for good buy-low targets, especially for organizations shallow in young depth, and then look for some intriguing sell-high options for prospects who may be at their peak in value right now, before looking to the future and taking a glimpse at the talent available in the 2025 NHL Draft Class! First, they look at some buy-low options, such as Noel Gunler, a sniper drafted by Carolina in 2020, and Vinzenz Rohrer, an intelligent and intense checking forward who may not have the opportunity to break into the Canadiens' bottom-six in the next few years. Next, they look at some players whose values are at potentially all-time highs right now, which their teams could choose to cash in on, including 2022 11th-overall pick, Conor Geekie, and 19-year-old NHL defenseman Tristan Luneau. Next, they look at the 2025 NHL Draft class, which is headlined by three tremendous forward prospects: James Hagens (USNTDP), Michael Misa (Saginaw Spirit), and Porter Martone (Mississauga Steelheads)!
