2024 World Junior Medley | Days 5 & 6 RECAP and Quarterfinals Primer!

The World Juniors Semifinals saw end-to-end action and the better teams winning both nail-biting games. The Czechs downed the Canadians for a third straight year, with a brand of intense and direct hockey that Canada's skill and finesse could not outplay over a full 60 minutes. We dig into what went right for the Czechs and what went wrong for the Canadians. The other matchup between Sweden and Finland became an instant classic. A late Finnish resurgence, end-to-end OT action, and a long shootout featuring netminders standing on their heads.
