Episode 8: Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Tiemo and Aljaž record one of the most difficult episodes yet. They have a conversation on what is happening currently and why in Israel and surrounding territories. They provide a brief history of Israel and Palestine and discuss legal terms such as self defense, necessity, proportionality and distinction. After, they have a conversation trying to present all sides to this incredibly complex issue and ponder about possible solutions, what ifs and whens.
Tiemo and Aljaž realize this is an incredibly emotional topic for many people and there are extreme views on both sides. With this episode, Juristudents is not taking a stand for any side and simply wants to bring back something so often missing in our lives - conversation about difficult issues.
Thank you for listening. Aljaž and Tiemo would love to hear your reactions, thoughts, and comments on this episode and hope it can spark a fairer debate.
