For centuries, travelers have dreamed of taking a Grand Tour of Italy. A rite of passage for many, exploring Italy's iconic cities has been celebrated by writers and poets and bundled up into packages by tour companies.

There are many ways to undertake a Grand Tour of your own but in this episode, we explore one you may not have thought of. Our guest Kathleen, veteran of many trips to Italy over the years, took a very special Grand Tour that captured all the highlights with charming off-the-beaten-path interludes.
