30 - Baby Andrew (The Doe Diaries)

39 years ago on February 28th 1981 at 3:10pm a baby boy only known as Baby Andrew was found dumped in a ditch on 33rd street and Sycamore avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Andrew had been born alive and his placenta was still attached to him with blood-stained underwear being found near his tiny body.

For years, police and local’s of Sioux Falls wondered who could be capable of such a heinous act. Who could leave their newborn baby out in the cold to die? In 2019, the community of Sioux Falls finally got their answers.
