Reframing the Balkan Narrative with British Writer-Producer, Miran Hadžić

Originally born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Miran Hadžić's family escaped to London, UK in 1992. He visited Kosovo to work with acclaimed composer, Trimor Dhomi, on one of the plays in the collection, a dark satire on a dystopian UK inspired by the breakup of the Balkans. Miran has also written for Invertigo Theatre, Omniwrite, and The Miniaturists. His play The Day After was nominated for an Origins Award for Outstanding New Work at VAULT Festival 2015. His most recent audio drama, Out of the Woods: New Plays From the Balkans was just released in June 2021.
