Vlog #10 - No Drugs! - Need Prior Authorization

So, I am a little fed up with the system, especially the system of providers regarding insurance. I know it includes rules and regulations but the time frame is ridiculous. I have been dealing with blue cross blue shield with a $1000 dollar bill that is suppose to have coverage. I am dealing with a new dosage of medications that I have to wait on because insurance doesn't want to cover it because of no prior authorization. Why are insurance systems so fucking slow... I get immediate approval to pick up a drug but then dropped because there is no drug in the system that is generic. How stupid. It isn't like I'm not watching my bills or my income and stalling. I want mental stability including reduction of side effects such as this daytime drowsiness that becomes unbearable at times. Well there isn't much I can do but whine, and it is counterproductive right now.
