Bruno Van Gompel is Technical and Supply Chain Director at Coca-Cola Western Europe, and he is constantly examining how his company can develop better packaging solutions and enhance the recycling infrastructure. We met him in Jordbro outside of Stockholm after the announcement that locally produced plastic bottles at Coca-Cola Sweden will be made from 100 % recycled plastic. It will save 3 500 tonnes of plastic per year and reduce CO2 emissions by 25 %.
