Need a forgiveness “touch up”?

Jesus said to him, “He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet; otherwise he is completely clean. And you are clean – but not all of you.” (John 13:10)

Many interpret the foot-washing conversation between Jesus and Simon Peter in John 13 as Christians still needing an occasional “touch up” cleaning, even if forgiven at salvation. This was the heart of a recent caller’s question.

In this clip, I address the radical servanthood demonstrated by Jesus and whether believers need additional forgiveness and cleansing. It’s an encouragement for anyone who struggles with guilt or fear of not being totally forgiven!
