EP 006 - Dirty (& Quarantined) Nanay: Parenting In A Pandemic

YO! WE HAVE BEEN IN QUARANTINE MODE FOR 1 YEAR! Here are some direct quotes from Rissa and Zee: "This was supposed to be 6 weeks!" "We will be done by Easter..."... Remember that?! Well, this episode is a nod to our fellow Filipinx parents (and all parents/guardians out there) that had to parent and DID THE DAMN THING during the pandemic. Is it worth a "HAPPY QUARANTINE ANNIVERSARY"? We think of who we were prior to the pandemic and who we have become during this pandemic. This was a difficult year for everyone, especially with all the social justice issues that have occurred. We witnessed a rise of protests for #BlackLivesMatter and #StopAsianHate... it was an exhausting year! Cheers to continuing the fight on social justice and being caregivers of the next generation! And because we are being real, apologies for Zee's sniffling and the echoing from Rissa's wonky mic.
