Ep 008 - Dirty (& Average) Nanay: Being AAPI, Mental Health, and Being A Mom

May was a big month! We had Mother’s Day on May 9, AAPI Heritage Month, and Mental Health Awareness Month, and we had one opportunity to make an episode, so instead of a couple of episodes, you get one long ass episode where we address ALL of this. This Halo Halo Episode is filled with tearful storytelling, and boisterous Tita laughter as Rissa and Zee invite one of their friends, Jen, to some heart to heart dialogue followed by a drinking game. We celebrate the averageness of being Dirty Nanays, because , at the end of the day, Nanays (in the most inclusive meaning—that means you too, our nonbinary cousins, adoptive parents, etc.) are extraordinary people.
