Karen Osborne is the author of four suspense novels: Reckonings (award-winning family saga/suspense), Tangled Lies (award-winning murder mystery), Getting It Right (recognized by Essence Magazine as a Best Read and featured in Poets & Writers), and True Grace (award-winning, historical fiction set in 1924 during the Harlem Renaissance). Her novels and many short stories address a wide range of societal and ethical topics, including strong women facing and overcoming adversity with grit and grace, #MeToo, racism, misogyny, social justice, foster care and adoption, and healing from post-traumatic stress disorder and sexual assault. Themes of forgiveness, redemption and hope are also prevalent in her writing. While Karen has always enjoyed writing, she published her first novel at 69 and her most recent book at 75.
