Why would someone move from Hawaii to Alaska?

A lot of life events contributed to Greg deciding that this was the year to move from paradise (Hawaii) to Alaska. He arrived just before the snow flew and is adjusting to life on the Last Frontier. Would he do it again? What does he think of the state so far?
