137. Picture Proof: Lorraine Kirkley

Lorraine Kirkley lives in Valparaiso Indiana with her loving husband Robert. Lori worked as a cardiac rehab nurse and seemed to really like her job. The couple were madly in love and had just put up their house for sale and had planned to move to South Bend which is where Robert worked. It was July 21, 1999 around 9:30pm Robert came home from work. Expecting Lori to be home as she was supposed to be, he arrived to an empty home. Even though no one was in the home, it was apparent someone had been there and helped themselves to a few of the belongings. Robert walked across the street to a neighbors and asked if they had seen Lori and when they told him they had not, Robert called 9-1-1. It would take years to find out exactly what happened to Lori.Join Jen and Cam on this Our True Crime Podcast episode entitled ‘Picture Proof: Lorraine Kirkley.’As always our listener discretion is by the wonderful @octoberpodVHS Our EP/ Music is by the stupenedous @wetalkofdreams.Sources:https://law.justia.com/cases/indiana/supreme-court/2003/09030301-rts.htmlhttps://charleyproject.org/case/lorraine-a-kirkleyhttps://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-2005-10-16-0510160225-story.htmlhttps://thecinemaholic.com/lori-kirkley-murder-where-is-david-malinski-now/https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1999-08-06-9908060364-story.htmlhttps://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/murder-case-of-valparaiso-nurse-examined-in-discovery-true-crime-series/article_05c2c9bb-68b7-5b73-95ca-b3d80cdb6297.htmlhttps://www.nwitimes.com/uncategorized/husband-files-suit-against-malinski/article_fd76dcb0-fab1-5937-a451-b0d64cd6bd7b.htmlhttps://www.nwitimes.com/news/history/crime/true-crime/true-crime-lorraine-kirkley-disappeared-july-21-1999/collection_47a24482-554a-58a1-af7d-9ae38ec57b4d.html Learn more about your ad choices.
