#20 "Dyslexic Advantage" CH.3. Review of “Differences in Information Processing” Dyslexia Memory

"Poor automaticity in routine skills makes many individuals with dyslexia...experiment with routine procedures, and in the process find new and better ways of doing things." p23 of Dyslexic Advantage. In this summary and review of Chapter 3 of The Dyslexic Advantage by Dr Brock Eide and Dr Fernette Eide they explore two of the four theories of Dyslexia. This chapter is all about the two main theories of what causes dyslexia and how it affects us. Phonological Impairment Theory and Procedural Learning Theory. I try to simplify it so I can understand it and explain it to my teenage students in the future. There is so much practical stuff to learn from understanding these theories. Its not just theoretical stuff. It helps in everyday decision making.
