E85. A positive planned Caesarean Birth experience With Georgia Adilova

E85. A positive planned Caesarean Birth experience With Georgia Adilova

1 in 4 women give birth in the UK via caesarean Section, which means we are doing a huge injustice to 25% off the motherhood population if we do not discuss this mode of birth. This week’s guest is mum, Georgia @georgiedoesstuff who has recently given birth to her second baby via a Caesarean section that she chose as her mode of birth. Georgia sent me a gorgeous video capturing the moment her little girl Luna was born via caesarean that honestly gave me goosebumps, so many of her important birth preferences were incorporated into the experience and Georgia has kindly come on this week to discuss her beautiful planned caesarean birth. I hope you are enjoying listening to Georgia’s wonderful experience, and that it has inspired you to consider how you can ensure a planned or even an unplanned caesarean birth may be positive for you should it be recommended. It is also a good idea to understand a little about what happens during and after a caesarean birth so there are no surprises, head over to www.aptaclub.co.uk/midwifepip to learn more about this.
