20-vuotias Nancy DePriest löydettiin murhattuna työpaikaltaan Pizza Hut-ravintolasta vuonna 1988 Texasin Austinista. Poliisilla oli nopeasti teoria siitä, että murhan takana oli lähes pakko olla joku toinen Pizza Hutissa työskennellyt henkilö. Tämä teoria mielessään poliisit lähtivät jahtamaan epäiltyjä ja löysivätkin lopulta kaksi henkilöä, jotka heidän mielestään sopivat hyvin murhan tekijöiksi.
