In this week’s episode, SPA’s Adult and Aged Care Project Officer, Nikki Gearon, speaks with Professor Alison Mudge, clinical lead of the Eat Walk Engage program, and Narelle O’Connor, speech pathologist and Eat Walk Engage program facilitator. Alison and Narelle discuss the Eat Walk Engage program and its role in improving care and health outcomes in older patients in acute care. For further information about the Eat Walk Engage program please email: EatWalkEngage@health.qld.gov.au Speech Pathology Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of lands, seas and waters throughout Australia, and pay respect to Elders past, present and future. We recognise that the health and social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are grounded in continued connection to culture, country, language and community, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
