No: Solen skinte over Aker Brygge, og luften var fylt med lyden av latter og rop.
En: The sun shone over Aker Brygge, and the air was filled with the sound of laughter and shouts.
No: Det var 17. mai, Norges nasjonaldag, og mennesker i bunader og med flagg i hendene fylte gatene.
En: It was 17. mai, Norway's national day, and people in bunader with flags in their hands filled the streets.
No: Sindre og Elin stod midt i folkemengden.
En: Sindre and Elin stood in the middle of the crowd.
No: Sindre holdt kameraet forsiktig i hendene og speidet etter det perfekte stedet å ta et bilde.
En: Sindre held the camera carefully in his hands, searching for the perfect spot to take a picture.
No: "Mye folk her i dag," sa Elin og kikket seg rundt.
En: "A lot of people here today," said Elin, glancing around.
No: Øynene hennes glitret med forventning, men det var også lett bekymring der.
En: Her eyes sparkled with anticipation, but there was also a slight hint of concern.

En: Suddenly, a familiar red shadow caught his eye.

En: With that as his guide, Sindre quickly climbed down from the bench.

En: He pushed through the crowd, apologetic smiles and urgency in his gaze.
No: "Elin!" ropte han da han kom nærmere.
En: "Elin!" he shouted as he got closer.
No: Hun snudde seg lettet mot han, smilte bredt.
En: She turned towards him, relieved, with a broad smile.
No: "Jeg fant deg!"
En: "I found you!"
No: De grinete mot hverandre, lettelsen tydelig i øynene deres.
En: They grinned at each other, the relief evident in their eyes.
No: "Jeg var redd jeg hadde mistet deg," sa Elin og grep hans hånd fast.
En: "I was afraid I lost you," said Elin, gripping his hand tightly.
