But she was not abducted – she and her 23 year old boyfriend had killed her family and run off together. Jasmine and her boyfriend Jerry Steinke shared a passion for vampires, and both were members of a vampire fan website. They got the idea of murdering Jasmine's family after watching the movie Natural Born Killers. Jasmine and Jerry were convicted of murdering her family, with Jasmine being the youngest person in Canadian history sent to prison on multiple counts of first-degree murder.
