Myron Keehn - CEO YEG Edmonton International Airport

The search for Edmonton International Airports new CEO was launched in the spring of 2022 and drew in dozens of talented candidates not only local and from Alberta, but from across Canada and beyond. This reflects Edmonton Airports' growing reputation as an innovative, world-leading airport with ambitious plans for attracting more flights, driving economic growth, and being on the forefront of future sustainability goals.

Board Chair Joan Hertz: "We searched the world and found the best candidate, right here at home. This is a testament to Tom Ruth's leadership in building a strong team along with a compelling vision and a great community. We're excited to have Myron step into the CEO role and build on the foundation that's in place now. And we're confident that, with his energy, drive and ideas, he'll help Edmonton Airports soar to even greater heights."

Edmonton International Airport is a self-funded, not-for-profit corporation that contributes substantially to the Edmonton Metropolitan Region's economic growth. It is Canada's fifth-busiest airport by passenger traffic and the largest major Canadian airport by land area. This employer of over 26,000 people pre-pandemic routinely engages in sustainability initiatives like signing The Climate Pledge.
