Dateable AF is a podcast about all things lesbian dating—or queer dating—or women-who-date-women dating. Whatever letter you vibe with, if you're a woman who dates women, this one's for you.

Hosted by two longtime friends, this show dives into the wild, wonderful, and often WTF world of dating women—with honesty, humor, and zero shame. Expect smart takes, relatable stories, and the occasional U-Haul reference.

Fun Drunk or Red Flag? Dating, Drinking & Compatibility

Sarah (now 5½ years sober) and Rachel unpack alcohol’s role in early dating: why that first drink can smooth nerves, why behavior usually shifts by drink three, and how presence—not what’s in your glass—makes or breaks connection.

They separate one-offs from patterns: overdrinking on a first date, needing booze for every plan, “cruddy” mornings, personality flips (sloppy, loud, angry), pressuring a partner to drink, or a sober person having “just one.” Patterns = red flags.

How to navigate mismatch: mix dry and sipped dates, name boundaries, avoid guilt in either direction, decide how you’ll handle “not tonight,” and know when to talk vs. walk. A kind script: “When you drink, it takes you away from the person I love.”

Context for queer women: bar culture and stress can nudge more drinking—but compatibility, safety, and respect matter most. Choose what keeps you present, connected, and datable AF.

Next up: E16 — I’m Not Clingy, You’re Just Distant: dating with different attachment styles. Share your funniest/worst “party girl” stories for the After Party, and follow on Apple, Spotify, and YouTube @ Datable AF.
