Monday November 20, 1995 Watertown Massachusetts 23-year-old Black binary transgender woman and talk show personality Chanelle Marie Pickett was discovered dead inside of the bedroom of on and off again lover 35-year-old White Cisgender man William “Blue Eyed Devil” Palmer. The two met after Chanelle’s appearance on 90s talk shows The Jenny Jones and The Geraldo Rivera Show where her and her identical twin both identified proudly as transgender women. When Chanelle is discovered strangled to death William is charged for the hateful homicide and goes on trial.
