Headlines: Man City & Real Madrid dominate FIFPRO World XI (Soccer 12/10)

In awards news, Manchester City and Real Madrid dominated the selections for FIFPRO's World XI. Virgil van Dyke is the only player outside of Man City or Real Madrid that made the XI in 2024 on the men's side. One notable absence on the squad is Lionel Messi. His first time not named in 17 straight years. On the women's side, five members of England's Euro-winning side made the FIFPRO World XI as well as Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmatí. Surprisingly however, not a single member of the Olympic Gold-Winning USWNT was included. The group discuss how this could possibly happen. Especially when this is player-voted.
