Steve Rosen, Author: talks “Tonechaser: Edward Van Halen” & Jimmy Page – Pt 2

Steve Rosen, a music journalist whose career spans 50 years, returns to talk more with Staci about music and writing. Steve was the West Coast correspondent for Guitar World magazine and he wrote for Guitar Player, among others. He’s also the author of books on Randy Rhoads, Prince, and Black Sabbath -- plus the massive tome “Tonechaser.” Steve talks about his friendship (and falling out) with Edward Van Halen, Van Halen’s last hurrah, current guitar trends, his love of The Ventures, and gives us a deep dive into his own personal “rock & roll nightmare” which involves Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin (FYI, Steve is not the first guest to tell a Jimmy Page “rock & roll nightmare” story!).
