Talks 271 - Chad & Julie Anthony, Air Force Family and Founders of Aspen’s Impact

Chad and Julie Anthony met as junior high schoolers in the Spaniard’s hometown of Hollidaysburg and later married and embarked on Chad’s Air Force career. Now they have children and grandchildren—the youngest of whom tragically passed away as an infant. In memory of darling Aspen Jayne, Chad and Julie channeled heartbreak into Aspen’s Impact, a nonprofit dedicated to aiding orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda. The initial goal of $30,000 is now $1 million. As of this episode, the project has raised over $120,000 and has launched a campus that will transform the future for thousands of young students, many of whom lack food and other basics.
