YOU DON’T LOOK AUTISTIC!?

You Don’t Look Autistic!? Oh boy here we go! If I had a £1 for every time I heard someone tell me that I didn’t look autistic I would be a millionaire a long time ago. But why? Why do people say this to autistic individuals? It is just super rude! The answer lies in the education part of societies, as they are not aware of what autism actually is. Because we are presented with Hollywood movies like Rain Man and other autistic characters in film and TV who present only one type of autism traits it leaves out most of the other autistic individuals traits. This, combined with the wrong data publish older generation charities organisations and older (more less informed books) causes the average person to not really grasp or understand the full idea of what autism is. By creating videos, blogs, and other influence content on the internet we are able to make an impact in educating and informing people of the actual full picture of the autism spectrum.
