Today on Creepy Shit Podcast, we are exploring haunted salons – real haunted salons, and as an actual hairstylist of nearly 20 years, this episode is going to make you think twice about who could be standing behind you during your next salon visit.

We investigate two documented cases of paranormal activity in active beauty salons. First, the historic Dorris House in Grapevine, Texas, where salon owner Lauren Jackson experiences bottles of red nail polish mysteriously flying off shelves and lights turning on by themselves. Then we visit Jazz Hair Salon in South Shields, England, where owner Sheena Carmichael deals with unplugged dryers spinning on their own and a disembodied voice telling customers to "get out."

I'll share my own unexplained encounter from two decades behind the chair, plus explore why beauty salons seem particularly prone to ghostly activity.
