In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Brandon talks with Arden about being raised by a neglectful abusive mother. Arden thought she had dealt with the trauma from her abuse, but the floodgates of pain opened back up when she broke no contact with her mother. Arden reached out to Brandon shortly after this event, and today, Arden uses her voice to share her experience.

It's a story of gaslighting, being voiceless, abandonment, neglect, parentification, rage, physical abuse, rage, needs not being met, parental alienation in court case, not trusting yourself, guilt, the normalcy of abuse, trauma bonds, grief, sabotage, not feeling loved, intergenerational trauma, healing, stability, second guessing, shame, and people pleasing.
