Anita Zannin: Bloodstain Pattern Expert & Forensic Consultant

For this episode, we are joined by Anita Zannin, one of the utmost experts in bloodstain pattern analysis in the world. Anita was kind enough to take time out of her crazy schedule as a forensic consultant to answer some questions we had about blood evidence, crime scene investigation, and what it's like giving testimony as an expert witness.

Ms. Zannin is only one of six worldwide that holds a certification of Competent Forensic Expert in Bloodstain Pattern Interpretation issued by the Institute on the Physical Significance of Human Bloodstain Evidence. She taught both Undergraduate and Graduate-level courses at Syracuse University, and travels the world teaching law enforcement teams crime scene investigation and bloodstain analysis. She founded AZ Forensics, a forensics consulting firm, and is frequently called upon to provide expert testimony in cases around the world.
