'The Conqueror' Movie Curse

In 1956, Hollywood set out to make an epic. Instead, it created one of the most cursed productions in film history. The Conqueror, starring John Wayne as Genghis Khan, was filmed in the Utah desert, downwind from a Nevada nuclear testing site. At the time, officials insisted the area was safe. Decades later, the cast and crew would look back in horror.
