James “JC” Kelly is the author of “Nemo’s World” which is a part of the Anthology, “20,000 Leagues Remembered”. He was born and raised in Southside Chicago and served 8 years in the Marine Corps including tours in Afghanistan and Iraq after September 11th. James says the geek in him is happy to say that he has fifteen years in the field of information Technology. James “JC” Kelly has been writing stories since his young fingers learned how to hold a pencil and tablets were fantasy devices unique to Star Trek The Next Generation! He is happily married and a proud father. As a father to five children, he wants to weave together stories enriched by his life’s experience and cast women in a powerful light. Doing so, he seeks to give his daughters and others, male or female, dynamic examples of heroines who change the world. Listen in as he shares experiences from his childhood that inspired him to write, his experience in the US Marines and helpful information for aspiring writers.
