Bridge Blood and River Runs: The Escape of Barclay and Salt | Code Flix Minisode 4

Episode Four throws the cast into sudden violence and impossible choices: Kate is left reeling after her boyfriend takes a bullet meant for her, while Salt is dragged into a locker and branded a traitor by her own people for saving a human. Tension hums beneath every scene as Unit watches evidence slip through their fingers and a spineless Prime Minister refuses to stand firm.

Barclay answers panic with a wild, breathless rescue — a truck hurled into the river, a getaway by boat, and two damaged souls giving in to one another in the cold aftershock. Salt, who has spent her life tightly bound to duty, finds herself untethered, hissing and laughing at the raw, strange joy of being alive on the surface.

Diplomacy curdles into accusation when Ambassador Tide demands Salt’s return, and Barclay’s desperate plan to contact allies unravels into a trap that exposes how closely Unit has been listening. The episode ends in a crater of sound and motion: Salt’s ear-splitting screech, a leap off the bridge, Kate’s confrontation with the general, and a cliffhanger promise that the next battle — “The End of the War” — will change everything.
