146. Ryan Weiss - Finding Acceptance Within

We are delighted to have a dear friend of The DEN back with us today, Ryan Weiss. Ryan is a Life Coach, Spiritual Counselor, Writer, Speaker, creator of WAKING UP WITH RYAN, and the newly released Sanctuary Challenge. We start this episode discussing anxiety, a feeling, or a reaction as Ryan would say, that many of us have been experiencing while in quarantine. Through this discussion we dive into what its like birthing a new project out into the world during COVID-19, how to explore what lies underneath procrastination, and how important it is for us to create a relationship with our shadow feelings instead of pushing them away. Ryan opens up about his experience coming out to his family and friends and how he realized throughout his life he was always searching for ways to "fit in" and find acceptance in order to be deserving of love. Whether you are struggling right now to find acceptance in society or within yourself, our hope is that this episode shows you there is hope. Your true authentic self is beautiful and accepted no matter what society has been programmed to believe.
