Lv: Sniega pārklātajā Rīgas centrā, spoži izgaismotajā debeskrāpja stikla zālē, kur debesis šķita sniedzamas ar roku, satikās trīs ilgi šķirti brāļi un māsas.
En: In the snow-covered center of Rīga, in the brightly lit glass hall of a skyscraper where the sky seemed within reach, three long-separated siblings met.
