Welcome back to 1999 — when beauty was dangerous and dresses were four times more expensive than you expected! And, welcome back to Judging Judy, the ridiculously popular comedy podcast that turns the tables on America’s least favorite TV judge.

This week, our first case is about permanent make up gone wrong…or did it? Sonia and her friend allege that these tattoos were supposed to make them beautiful and make their lives easier in the process; except, they say, it was botched. Not only did they suffer through unbearable pain, they also say the permanent cosmetics left them looking less like models and more like clown. David, the salon owner, claims nothing went wrong and that these two are just out to make a buck — and all at his expense. It will be up to connect the dots and decide if the price of beauty was just too much.

Then, we move onto a bride who just wanted four bridesmaids dresses without paying a fortune. Unfortunately, the colleague who made them for her says all her work went unpaid: to the tune of $1,600! Maybe it was a misunderstanding. Or maybe one of them is trying to play fast and loose with the truth. Eventually, the bride to be had to find new dresses, and just days before her nuptials. Meanwhile, the dressmaker still hasn’t got her money! Who will Judy believe in this case of deceptive dressmaking?

And, of course, what will our ruling be? Will we find Judy innocent, will we think she did her job? Or will her antics be too much, will we find Judy guilty? That’s our duty on Judging Judy: to judge the Judge.
