Anastasiia Vlasenko supports Ukraine's youth through NGO Brave Generation

Anastasiia Vlasenko had to flee Kherson, Ukraine, after the Russian invasion in 2022. She has taken a very difficult and negative experience and transformed it into very positive energy. Ms. Vlasenko is the vice president with Brave Generation, a New-York-based non-profit actively working to empower young Ukrainians with education, mentorship, and mental health support for post-war reconstruction. She is currently living in Prague pursing international and diplomatic studies. She is also a Young European Ambassador. The aim of the program is to raise awareness about the EU's cooperation with its neighbors in the East. Ms. Vlasenko describes her experience in Kherson during the war and talks about why she decided to join Brave Generation to help young Ukrainians create a new, positive future for themselves once the war is over. https://www.linkedin.com/in/anastasiia-vlasenko-69a4a9237/?originalSubdomain=cz https://eige.europa.eu/newsroom/events/gender-equality-forum-2024/youth-participants/anastasiia-vlasenko
