Sl: Vdihni v hladno, svežo gorsko jutro!
En: Breathe in the cold, fresh mountain morning!

Sl: Julian Alpe, prekriti s snegom, so kot beli zloženi odeji.
En: The Julian Alpe, covered in snow, are like white folded blankets.

Sl: Visoke smreke obdajajo smučišče, kjer Matej, Luka in Nina preživljajo zimske počitnice.
En: Tall spruces surround the ski slope where Matej, Luka, and Nina are spending their winter vacation.

Sl: Matej, najstarejši brat, vedno skrbi za Luka in Nino.
En: Matej, the oldest brother, always looks after Luka and Nina.

Sl: Njegov smeh odzvanja med drevesi.

Sl: "Hej, pridita za mano!
En: "Hey, come after me!"

Sl: "Nina, zakaj ne poskusiva?
En: "Nina, why don't we try?"

Sl: "Pejdmo sem gor, Nina!
En: "Come up here, Nina!

Sl: To je prava avantura!
En: This is the real adventure!"

Sl: "Mateju ni všeč Lukova nepremišljenost.
En: Matej doesn't like Luka's recklessness.

Sl: "Prehitro," zavpije.
En: "Too fast," he shouts.

Sl: "Naj gre najprej za majhen hrib.
En: "Let her go to the small hill first."

Sl: "A Nina, ki si želi biti pogumna, sledi bratu Luka.
En: But Nina, wanting to be brave, follows her brother Luka.

Sl: Matej hitro razmišlja, kako ohraniti ravnotežje med Lukovo željo po pustolovščini in Ninino naravno previdnostjo.

Sl: "Počasi, Nina," kliče Matej.
