True Faith Resists the Urge to Hasten God’s Promises The central lesson contrasts jealousy and revenge with patience, discernment, and reverence for life. Jealousy corrupts the heart and leads toward death, while waiting on God preserves life and aligns human action with divine purpose. David teaches that God’s plans do not require human violence or manipulation to be fulfilled.
