Ro: Drumul era acoperit de zăpadă, și zăpada strălucea sub lumina liniștită a lunii.
En: The road was covered in snow, and the snow glistened under the calm moonlight.

Ro: Ioana stătea pe o bancă de lemn în fața casei, învelită în cojocul bunicii.
En: Ioana sat on a wooden bench in front of the house, wrapped in her grandmother's coat.

Ro: Se gândea la inima ei.
En: She was thinking about her heart.

Ro: În curând va fi Dragobetele, sărbătoarea dragostei.
En: Soon, it would be Dragobete, the celebration of love.
